The policies behind how gabis handles your money, your identity checks and your data, in plain language. Open a section to read it.
Terms of service
The agreement between you and gabis: what you can do with your account, what we do for you, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Privacy policy
What personal data we collect, why we collect it, who sees it and how long we keep it.
Security
How accounts, money and data are protected, what we will never ask you for, and how to report a problem.
Know your customer (KYC) and customer due diligence
We confirm who you are before you can move money. Business accounts are checked at a higher level than personal ones. If we cannot confirm who you are, or something does not add up, we may limit or pause an account until it does, and we will tell you what we need.
Anti-money laundering and sanctions
We monitor activity for signs of money laundering, fraud and terrorist financing. We screen customers and payments against sanctions lists, and we report suspicious activity to the authorities where the law requires it. We may be legally unable to tell you when we have done so.
Data protection
We collect only what we need to run your account and meet legal duties. Your personal data is handled under the data protection laws of the countries we serve. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where the law allows.
Access control and sign-in protection
Only people who need access to customer data to do their job can see it, and that access is logged. We protect sign-in with a password plus a second check, and we will never ask you for your PIN, password or one-time code.
Risk and incident management
We watch for outages, fraud and security incidents all day. When an incident affects customers, we fix it first, then tell you what happened, what it affected and what we changed. Live service status is on our status page.
Refunds and disputes
If a payment went wrong, tell us as soon as you can. We look into it, keep you updated, and refund what is owed. Where a payment partner or a bank is involved, we work with them on your behalf.
Record keeping
We keep transaction and identity records for the period the law requires, so that we can answer your questions, resolve disputes and cooperate with regulators.
Complaints and contact
Start with support at [email protected]. If we have not solved it, ask for a manager review and we will answer in writing.
